Writing the Full-length Play Workshop | Process & Creativity

In this 6-week workshop writers will develop and build on their ideas week to week with writing exercises that lead to scenes and monologues. Tammy guides each writer through a step by step process exploring character, conflict, dialogue, place, theme and structure. At the end of the workshop, writers will share their first scenes for feedback. 

This workshop is designed to focus on each writer’s individual process to develop the foundation necessary to complete an original new work for the stage. Open to playwrights, screenwriters, librettists and composers, as well as writers working in other genres who want to make the jump to writing dramatic literature.
